My Story

The 2020 pandemic inspired me to form a deeper commitment to philanthropic efforts. During a time with so many extraordinary needs on public display, I asked what difference could I make?
I began to look for unique opportunities to be a blessing. By connecting with a prayer group led by a friend, I heard many prayer requests, testimonies and praises shared on Monday nights. One day, I decided to send a $100 donation to the prayer group leader for someone in need.
When she received it, she sent me a text message: “Hello sweetie, I wanted to tell you about a lady I called this morning. God told me to choose her. I asked her if she had a need and she said, ’Who told you?' This particular lady needed money to renew the registration for her car, which had remained unpaid for the past two months. I praise God for you. Thank you.”
I was so excited to learn my donation helped someone, so I decided to give again. Now, here we are today with the making of 1hundredfold!

My desire to help others was born during my childhood. I grew up in the South under the tutelage of a fiercely faith-driven mother who taught her children to care about other people. We have a saying in my family… “I want in on that blessing!”
I hope you will join me in this movement by taking the next steps to plan your 1hundred giving. Even once is more than enough. I think of it as a small act of kindness, but my friend corrected me:“It’s not small. It’s big when it comes from your heart.”
